The juice from Tegus

HOLA, QUE TAL! So we get off the plane in Tegucigalpa, go through customs without any problems, grab our bags, hop in Carlos´ car with him and are immediately amazed (well, at least I was amazed) at the traffic here! There are taxi cabs everywhere who basically have a total lack of any respect for traffic laws, and everyone else just kind of switches from lane to lane without signalling and just expects you to anticipate their erratic movements. Oh, and people cross the streets here just like students do on MSU´s campus...whenever they want to, regardless of traffic! It´s crazy! But once we met Carlos and Luis (the director and principal of the school, respectively) we definitely felt at home in spite of all the new changes.
THE BASICS
1. our apartment rocks
2. we have a maid
3. we have a sweet view of the city
4. we have friendly pet geckos who eat our hormigas (ants)
5. everyone we´ve met is extremely nice and willing to bend over backwards for you.
