Because I don't feel like writing much...

Here are a few of the pictures that never made it up on the last blog entry.


Honduras has an awesome National Bird - the Scarlet Macaw - and we got to hold one!

This picture was taken inside the sculpture museum to show the detail work of the Copan artisans. Our guide compared Copan to the Athens of the Mayan Empire, because it is known for it's great artistry in carving more than enormous temples as in some other ancient Mayan cities.


All four of us on top of one of the monuments/temples that archaeologists believe the leaders would stand on to address the people in the courtyard.
