Bastante trabajo

For those faithful few who visit this site often enough to know that we haven't posted in a while, my I present to you, A NEW POST! The good thing is that slacking off in our blogging has been a result of our hard work at school, with Megan tutoring a few different students in math and both of us preparing for the upcoming science fair this Friday (don't worry, you'll be able to catch the results on CNN).

The weekends have been kind to us though, as we took another trip to La Tigra with some co-workers/friends last Saturday.

This shot of the waterfall does it a bit more justice than the one I took before with a disposable.

This is Megan and our boss, Luis, hanging out at the bottom of the waterfall. He looks really angry hear, but he's probably one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

We also had a chance to visit a town on the north coast of Honduras a few weeks ago called Tela, so here's a taste of what that was like. It was cloudy the day I took these photos and we got soaked walking to our hotel later that day, but it made the trip all the more memorable.

The hotel we stayed in was perfect for us, cheap and pretty well kept, and we had a little balcony that overlooked the ocean. The only downside was the extremely vocal tropical birds that woke us up the next morning at 5 AM. Some people were also on the beach around 6 AM to have a sunrise church service right by the ocean, which we want to try to catch the next time we visit.

The other cool thing about this hotel is that there is an excellent restaurant on the lower level that serves the best seafood I've ever had in my life. Notice the crab crawling it's way out of Megan's bowl...hehehe.
