God bless the cabbies

So the cabbies decided to give us another present this year by blocking off all the main veins and arteries of the city yesterday. Luckily, they started striking before we left for classes in the morning, unlike many other people who were trapped in their cars for hours just waiting for the strike to end. So what did we do with our day? We crawled back into bed and slept for a few hours, woke up and ate some crepes that Megan made, and then walked to the theatre to see Syriana in the afternoon. By the way, part of the film is in Arabic with English subtitles, but when you're in a Latin American country they take out the English subtitles and replace them with Spanish. Because of that, I was REALLY confused in a film that is already pretty convoluted...and slow. Definitely a renter if you're pondering whether to see it in the theatres.

That's most of the news for now, so why don't I make another stab at the trivia game. Name all the Jetson charaters including the dog...and for bonus points, name the robot maid. Just sing the theme song and it should come to you. :)
